This used to be 3500 acres of beautiful, biodiverse native forest.
Now it’s a moonscape.
Would you call that “restoration”?
Of course not. Yet that’s the lie that the BLM and other government agencies expects us to believe.
This forest is just one of many thousands like it.
Using justifications supposed by deceptive language, outdated research, and deeply flawed models, hundreds of thousands of acres of Pinyon Pine and Juniper are being chained, sprayed, and clearcut. Much harm has already been done.
But the fight isn’t over. Millions more acres of forest are at risk, including old-growth forests with trees who have lived a thousand years.
We are appalled by this destruction, and we mean to stop it.
